Best areas to find a house for rent in Hanoi

You certainly have a more of a neighbourhood feel in Tay Ho, and for sure, much grander properties. It very easy to find both cheap and high rate apartment, house or villa in Tay Ho with lake views, fresh environment and expat neighborhood. This area is more favoured by expat families than singles. Since Tay Ho is a place for expat community, there’s many intertional schools, Western restaurants and mini bars for you and your family to explore.

Cau Giay district

While Tay Ho attracts expatriates of different nationalities, Cau Giay District, particularly My Dinh area is home to most Japanese and Korean.

Being a new and fast developed district in the West, Cau Giay offers its residents plenty of choices when it comes to dining out, shopping and access to the city centre. Several modern high-rises are springing out of nowhere as the district becomes increasingly recognised as a desirable area to live in. Many largest supermarkets in Hanoi are located here, such Big C, Coop, Metro.

As a result, many houses for rent in Hanoi can be found in Cau Giay. Among them, Trung Hoa – Nhan Chinh, Trung Yen, Dich Vong, My Dinh emerges as the most popular and ideal home for expats, whether they are singles, couples or families. However, if you are not Korean or Japanese, you might feel a little bit lonely while living here since these 2 expat communities are very big and different from Western countries’s.
